Pepper Pin Up

I'm working on doing a series of pin-ups featuring the girls of Club Foofoo from my comic The Mysterious Miss Bunbun.

This is the newest girl I recently came up with, and currently my favorite to draw, so I couldn't help but finish her pin-up first. Her name is Pepper, and she's a rough-and-tumble southerner with a cowgirl burlesque act when working at Club Foofoo.

Pepper's origins are pretty convoluted; she's actually a combination of two previous characters I came up with. I knew I wanted a southern belle-esque bunny girl, but for some reason could never keep her from coming off as too bland in my opinion. Then I also had a younger, pig-tailed bunny girl named Pepper I'd thought up, but had NO IDEA what to do with her or how to fit her in the story. Then after watching the Disney Pecos Bill cartoon short and marveling at how awesome Slewfoot Sue is, it hit me: a cowgirl burlesque bunny would be awesome! Thus my southern bunny and Pepper collided, creating the modern Pepper you see now.
